The series supports 802.11p Quality of Service to deliver data based on priority and traffic type, plus Bandwidth Control to reduce unwanted broadcast traffic. Combined with IGMP Snooping, Port Mirroring, and Link Aggregation (LACP), network administrators gain fine-grained control over traffic flow and performance, ensuring business-critical applications receive the bandwidth they need.
Security and Network Protection
Security is paramount in business networks. The series includes Access Control List and DHCP Server Screening that only allows legitimate DHCP Server IP addresses on specific ports. Additional protection comes from 802.1X port-based authentication, ARP Inspection, DHCP Snooping, and the D-Link Safeguard Engine which guards against malicious traffic flooding. Port security supports up to 64 MAC addresses per port, providing granular access control.
Power over Ethernet (PoE+ Models)
