The modular design allows installation as an independent desktop power supply unit, or placement inside an optional DPS-800 rack-mount chassis for clean, space-saving equipment rack installations.
Rack-Mount Chassis Compatibility
When used with the optional DPS-800 chassis, you can accommodate up to two DPS-500A modules in a standard 19-inch equipment rack. The chassis occupies just 1.25U of rack space and enables efficient cabling management. All redundant power supply units installed in the chassis connect directly to their power sources and are fully hot-swappable for maximum uptime.
