D-Link DPS-800 2-Slot 1U Rack-Mount Chassis for Redundant Power Supplies

    Description

    D-Link DPS-800 2-Slot 1U Rack-Mount Chassis for Redundant Power Supplies

The D-Link DPS-800 is a 2-slot, 1U rack-mount chassis designed to house D-Link's DPS-200, DPS-300, and DPS-500/500DC redundant power supply units. This space-efficient solution enables network administrators to deploy high-availability power configurations for D-Link enterprise switches with clean cable management and professional rack integration. Ideal for enterprise networks, data centres, and server rooms across Australia, the DPS-800 provides a reliable, hot-swappable platform to maximise network uptime.

    Why Choose the D-Link DPS-800?

The DPS-800 chassis is the perfect companion for businesses seeking to protect critical network infrastructure from power supply failures. With support for two redundant power supply modules, the chassis enables uninterrupted failover in the unlikely event of a mechanical power failure. Built with a solid metal housing, it withstands demanding environments including wide temperature ranges and high-traffic areas.

    Key Features

    • 2-Slot Capacity: Accommodates up to two DPS-200, DPS-300, or DPS-500/500A/520 redundant power supply units
    • 1U Rack-Mount Design: Standard 19-inch rack-mount width for seamless integration into equipment racks
    • Hot-Swappable Modules: All redundant power supply units can be swapped without downtime, maximising uptime
    • Space-Efficient Solution: Saves valuable rack space while enabling clean cable management
    • Solid Metal Housing: Robust construction for reliable performance in tough environments
    • Enterprise-Ready: Ideal for powering D-Link stackable switches mounted in the same rack

    Uninterrupted Power Redundancy

Each D-Link redundant power supply installed in the DPS-800 chassis is equipped with an integrated detection circuit that continuously monitors the connected switch's internal power supply. In the event of a power interruption, the redundant power supply is immediately triggered to ensure the LAN switch and connected devices continue operating without interruption. This results in a more reliable network infrastructure and prevents network downtime due to power supply failure.

    Easy and Flexible Deployment

Deployment of the DPS-800 and compatible redundant power supplies doesn't require any configuration changes to your D-Link switch. Simply install the chassis in your rack, insert the power supply modules, and connect to your switches. With the exception of the DPS-500DC, each RPS is equipped with a universal internal power supply and can be connected to any AC power source from 90V AC to 264V AC, 47Hz to 63Hz, through a standard AC power cable.

    Compatible D-Link Redundant Power Supplies

    • DPS-200 / DPS-200A: 60W Redundant Power Supply Unit
    • DPS-300: Redundant Power Supply Unit
    • DPS-500 / DPS-500A / DPS-520: 140W Redundant Power Supply Unit
    • DPS-500DC: DC Redundant Power Supply Unit

    Ideal for Australian Enterprise Networks

Whether you're managing a corporate office network, data centre, or educational institution, the D-Link DPS-800 provides a professional, scalable solution for deploying redundant power to your critical switching infrastructure. The modular design enables you to cost-effectively deploy higher availability configurations precisely when and where they are needed most.
