D-Link DSL-16MF VDSL2/ADSL2+ Microfilter Splitter for Clean DSL Signal

    Description

D-Link DSL-16MF VDSL2/ADSL2+ Microfilter Splitter for Clean DSL Signal

The D-Link DSL-16MF Microfilter/Splitter is an essential accessory for anyone with VDSL2 or ADSL2+ broadband. This high-quality low pass filter separates analogue voice-frequency signals from DSL data signals, eliminating interference and ensuring a clean, reliable broadband connection for your home or office.

Why You Need a DSL Microfilter

If microfilters are not used, the DSL data signals are heard as "noise" on any equipment connected to the telephone line. Apart from being disruptive during a telephone conversation, there is the possibility that the additional DSL signals may cause interference with alarm units that may be connected across the line. The DSL-16MF solves this problem by filtering out DSL interference from your phone devices while allowing your broadband modem to operate at peak performance.

    Key Features

    • Universal Compatibility: Works with both VDSL2 and ADSL2+ enabled telephone lines
    • High-Quality Filter: Low pass filter design provides optimum performance and clean signal separation
    • Standards Compliant: Compliant to all local Australian standards for reliable operation
    • Easy Installation: Simple plug-and-play setup requires no technical expertise
    • Protects Your Connection: Prevents DSL signal interference with phones, fax machines, and answering machines
    • 3-Year Warranty: Warranty: 3 years for peace of mind

    How It Works

The DSL-16MF microfilter separates the high-frequency DSL broadband data from the low-frequency voice signals on your telephone line. By installing a filter at each phone device socket, you ensure that your phones, fax machines, and other PSTN equipment operate without the disruptive noise caused by DSL signals, while your broadband modem maintains optimal connection speeds.

    Installation & Usage

A Filter is required for each phone device connected to your wall outlet (Phone, Fax, Analog Modem, Answering Machine, Alarm Dialer etc) A maximum of 3 filters may be installed on any one phone line. The DSL-16MF features a compact white design that plugs directly into your telephone wall socket, with separate ports for your phone device and DSL modem.

Important: Not to be used in conjunction with a 'back to base' security alarm system.
