Professional Cable Management
The Patchbox One system revolutionises network rack cabling by storing excess cable length inside replaceable cassettes. Each cassette contains a flat, flexible Cat.6a cable made from 100% stranded copper with PVC jacket and RJ45 shielded connectors with gold-plated pins. The retractable mechanism ensures cables extend only as far as needed, reducing clutter by up to 50% and improving airflow throughout your rack.
Build Your Custom Rack Solution
This 8RU cassette is designed to work with the Patchbox One Frame (sold separately), which holds up to 24 cassettes. Mix and match cable lengths (8RU, 30RU, or 46RU), types (STP or UTP), and eight different colours to create a fully customised patch panel solution. The cassettes are also backward compatible with Patchbox Plus+ and 365 systems.
Installation & Compatibility
Ideal for compact server cabinets and wall-mount racks where space is at a premium. The 8RU cassette with its 0.8m cable length is perfect for smaller installations covering up to 8 rack units. Cassettes install and remove in seconds without tools, allowing rapid deployment and easy maintenance. Frames with 8RU cassettes can be mounted using the Patchbox /dev/mount accessory.
