The Defender PSDR800 uses Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) to automatically buck and boost unstable input voltages, bringing them within 10% of nominal voltage range. This protects connected equipment from damaging voltage fluctuations without switching to battery power. The unit also incorporates best-in-class surge protection to defend against power spikes and transients.
