With instant wake-up from sleep mode in less than one second, you can start scanning immediately without delays.
Wide Range Document Handling
This versatile scanner handles an extensive range of documents from ID cards to double-letter wide-format sheets. The fi-7460 accommodates document sizes from 50.8 x 69 mm (2 x 2.7 inches) up to 304.8 x 431.8 mm (12 x 17 inches), with long document support up to 5,588 mm (220 inches). It can scan up to three plastic cards simultaneously and handles paper weights from 27 to 413 g/m² in manual feed mode, including thick documents, envelopes, and folded A2 documents.
Advanced Image Processing & Software
The included PaperStream IP driver (TWAIN and ISIS compatible) automatically enhances image quality, removes backgrounds, and optimises scans for OCR, even with wrinkled, soiled, or patterned documents. PaperStream Capture software enables batch separation using barcodes and patch codes, automatic indexing, and routing to multiple destinations. The scanner features a backlit LCD operation panel for direct scanning with up to 50 pre-registered jobs.
Reliable Paper Feeding & Protection
The fi-7460 incorporates multiple paper protection mechanisms including Intelligent Sonic Paper Protection (iSOP), which detects anomalies in sound and monitors paper feed distance to prevent jams and document damage. The Skew Reducer mechanism ensures straight feeding of mixed batches, while Ultrasonic Multi-feed Detection prevents multiple sheets from being fed simultaneously. The Stacking Control function adjusts paper output speed to keep documents neatly aligned after scanning.
