Smart Home Integration
The Shelly Wave Dimmer AU integrates seamlessly with all Z-Wave certified gateways and over 4000 Z-Wave devices. Tested and compatible with popular home automation platforms including Home Assistant (Z-Wave JS), Fibaro HC3, Homee, SmartThings, and more. Create custom scenes, schedules, and automations by combining with other Shelly Wave devices such as motion detectors, temperature sensors, and relays. Control your lighting by voice, app, motion detection, or schedule - you're in complete control.
Installation & Wiring
The compact design fits behind existing wall switches without the need to replace light fittings or globes. Features 2 switch/push-button inputs and 2 load outputs via screw terminals. Supports both one-button dim mode (press to toggle, press and hold to dim up/down) and dual-button dim mode (one button dims up, one dims down). Installation requires electrical knowledge and should be performed by a qualified electrician. The device supports in-wall mounting and can be wired with or without a neutral wire, depending on your electrical setup.
Customisable Performance
Set minimum and maximum brightness levels, fade rates, and transition durations to perfectly match your lighting preferences. Using unique algorithms, the Shelly Wave Dimmer automatically recognises the type of light bulb used and calibrates to it perfectly. Adjust your lighting to create comfortable ambient conditions and automatically transition to predefined brightness levels during specific hours of the day.

Designed for Australian and New Zealand electrical standards. Features comprehensive protection including over-heating, over-current, and over-voltage safeguards. Security 2 Authenticated encryption provides the highest level of Z-Wave security for all communications. Over-the-air firmware updates ensure ongoing access to improvements and security patches.
