The UBB utilises the 60 GHz frequency band to deliver gigabit+ wireless speeds with minimal interference. The 60 GHz band attenuates quickly due to atmospheric absorption, making it highly directional and ideal for secure point-to-point links. Dual-Radio Redundancy for Reliable Connectivity
Because 60 GHz signals are line-of-sight dependent and can be affected by rain or obstacles, Ubiquiti engineered the UBB with dual-radio redundancy. If the 60 GHz link experiences degradation, the bridge automatically fails over to the 5 GHz radio (WiFi 5 / 802.11ac) with speeds up to 866.6 Mbps. This ensures your network stays connected even in challenging weather conditions.
