High-Performance Routing & Security
Powered by a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor at 1.5 GHz and 3GB DDR4 memory, the UCG-Max delivers 2.3 Gbps of IDS/IPS throughput on UniFi OS 4.1 or newer. Advanced security features include application-aware firewall rules, country and domain filtering, signature-based intrusion prevention, and VLAN/subnet-based traffic segmentation. VPN support includes WireGuard, OpenVPN, L2TP, and IPsec for secure site-to-site and remote access connectivity.
Integrated UniFi Protect NVR
The UCG-Max includes a 512GB NVMe SSD dedicated to UniFi Protect, allowing you to record and manage up to 15 HD, 8 2K, or 5 4K cameras directly on the gateway. Models with 1TB and 2TB storage are also available for larger deployments. The device supports the full UniFi application suite, including Network, Protect, Access, Talk, and Connect, providing unified management for your entire UniFi ecosystem.
Compact, Silent, & Desk-Friendly
At just 141.8 × 127.6 × 30 mm and 519 grams, the UCG-Max features a compact desktop form factor with a sleek polycarbonate enclosure. The fanless, passively cooled design ensures completely silent operation, making it suitable for offices, retail environments, and home deployments. A 0.96-inch LCM status display provides at-a-glance system information, and USB-C power (5V DC/5A, adapter included) allows flexible placement.
Multi-WAN & Advanced Networking
The UCG-Max supports multi-WAN load balancing with failover and backup internet connectivity via LTE. QoS features include WiFi optimization with UniFi APs, application-based prioritization, and domain and country-based traffic shaping. Additional features include DHCP relay, customizable DHCP server, IGMP proxy, IPv6 ISP support, and policy-based WAN and VPN routing.
