The convertible rack/tower form factor makes the GXT5 easy to deploy in any environment. Install it in a standard 19-inch rack (4U rack space, 430mm W × 650mm D × 173mm H) or use the included tower stand for freestanding placement in open areas. The factory-installed Vertiv RDU101 communications card provides SNMP and web-based management capabilities, allowing remote monitoring and control. Use the free Vertiv Power Insight software to consolidate monitoring of up to 100 distributed UPS units in a single dashboard, ideal for multi-site deployments.
Scalable Runtime and Battery Management
Standard runtime is 4.5 minutes at full load (5000W) and 12.5 minutes at half load (2500W). For extended backup time, the GXT5 supports up to ten external battery cabinets with automatic detection and integration. The hot-swappable internal battery can be replaced without powering down the UPS, minimising downtime. Intelligent battery management includes health status monitoring and predictive replacement date alerts to help you plan maintenance proactively.
