When your computer systems, servers, or network equipment cannot afford downtime – even for scheduled maintenance – the Liebert MicroPOD ensures continuous uptime. It provides an isolated power path that allows you to service or replace your UPS without ever cutting power to your connected equipment. Simply turn the rotary switch to transfer your load to utility power, perform your UPS maintenance, then switch back to protected UPS power when complete.
Flexible Installation Options
The MicroPOD includes mounting brackets for flexible installation. Rackmount it in a standard 19-inch enclosure, place it on the floor beside your UPS tower, or mount it on a wall. The unit can be installed facing three different directions to suit your rack or room layout. At just 2U in height, it fits seamlessly into your existing infrastructure.
How It Works
In UPS mode, power flows from utility to UPS, then through the MicroPOD to your connected equipment – providing full battery backup and power conditioning. In Utility mode, the MicroPOD routes power around (bypassing) the UPS, supplying utility power directly to the load. Visual indicators (green UPS lamp and amber Utility lamp) show you the current operating mode at a glance.
